David Freedman, Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner
Director, The Center for Vedic Medicine
David Freedman is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and has studied Oriental medicine for over 20 years including Ayurveda, Chinese and Tibetan medicine, Vedic medical astrology, and medical Yoga. He is a graduate of the AYU Ayurvedic Academy (2002) directed by Dr. Vivek Shanbhag where he studied under traditionally trained Ayurvedic physicians and surgeons. He has continued postgraduate studies with leading Ayurvedic physicians and teachers including Dr. Subhash Ranade, Dr. Sunanda Ranade, Dr. Avinash Lele, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, Dr. Manisha Kshirsagar, and Dr. Jayarajan Kodikannath. He has been an Ayurvedic medicine instructor at Bastyr University, and an advisor and teaching assistant at Kerala Ayurveda Academy. David is currently an Ayurvedic instructor at Shoreline Community College, Everett Community College, North Seattle Community College, and Lake Washington Institute of Technology. He is the director of the Center for Vedic Medicine located in Bothell, Washington, USA, where he teaches Ayurvedic medicine in addition to performing client wellness consultations with a specialization in digestive and skin disorders. He is a member of the Washington State Ayurvedic Medical Association, and is the editor and contributor to the book Ayurvedic Massage Therapy.
Professor Dr. Subhash Ranade, MaSc, PhD (Ayurveda)

Professor Dr. Subhash Ranade is one of the foremost experts on Ayurveda. He is
a leading academician and physician in the field of Ayurveda. Dr. Ranade brings almost 50 years of Ayurvedic teaching and practice experience to all his classes. He is the
author of more than 132 books on Ayurveda and Yoga.
He is the former dean of the department of Ayurveda, Pune University, India and
Principal of Ashtang Ayurveda College.
He is currently the chairman of the International Academy of Ayurveda, Pune, India. Since 1981, he has had the honor of being a visiting professor to many Ayurvedic institutes around the world including the United States, Europe, Canada, Israel, Brazil,
Argentina, Chile, Russia, China and Japan. In 2009 he was awarded., along with his wife Dr. Sunanda Ranade, the International Dhanvantari award for Excellence in Practice from the association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America for his work in promoting Ayurveda wordlwide. He was also appointed as Visitors Nominee at Banaras Hindu University by the President of India for 3 years.
Professor Dr. Avinash Lele, MD (Ayurveda)

Dr. Lele is an Ayurvedic surgeon and panchakarma and marma therapy specialist who runs the 'Atrya Rugnalaya' clinic in Pune, India. He is the ex-principal of Ayurved College at Hadapsar and is the author of several articles and books including Panchakarma and Ayurvedic Massage, and Secrets of Marma. He is a visiting professor at various schools worldwide including Harvard medical school and the New England Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine in Boston. U.S.A. He is the founder of "Ayurmol" Ayurved Institute, Munich and "Ayata Ayurveda" at Karlsruhe, Germany.
